About ME & My Practice
I offer a warm, empathetic, and confidential counselling space where you can feel secure and supported. A space where you can talk freely and feel heard, where your thoughts and feelings truly matter.
You will be treated as the expert on yourself, as no one else knows exactly what it’s like to be you. My goal is to help you explore your issues, feelings, beliefs, and behaviour, so you can discover your own abilities and autonomy and cope with current and future problems.
I am a qualified person-centred counsellor and am registered with the BACP. I hold a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and have provided counselling within the NHS and online via a Community Interest Charity. I have volunteered at two local mental health support services within my community. I run a small private practice at my home and have a dedicated garden room for private, face-to-face sessions, as well as providing online and telephone sessions.

Whatever you’re going through, you don’t have to face it alone.
Chronic pain or illness can affect every part of life, impacting mood, energy, sleep, relationships, and the ability to enjoy everyday activities. It can lead to withdrawal, reduced independence, and a sense of loss, with both a physical and emotional burden.
Persistent worry, panic attacks, overwhelm, or that constant knot of tension that won’t ease. Feeling flat, hopeless, or disconnected — when life loses its colour and motivation feels out of reach.
Grief can be overwhelming. A safe space to process the loss of a loved one or something that mattered deeply. There are many types of losses, including loss of health, identity, relationships, hopes, future plans and beloved pets, to name just a few.
Struggles with partners, family, or friends — patterns of conflict, loneliness, or feeling unheard.
Negative self-talk, imposter feelings, or a sense that you’re not quite good enough — we can explore that together.
Retirement, redundancy, becoming a parent, divorce — big changes that leave you unsure of who you are now.
This is not an exhaustive list.
If you’re unsure whether counselling could help with what you’re going through, please don’t hesitate to get in touch — there’s no obligation.
